Both of the girls started school today. It's the first time in 4+ years that I've had a set time like this to myself. It's kind of weird. I ran a few places, and now I actually have time to upload pictures and then blog about something in a timely manner. After I upload this, I'm going to fold clothes (with no little helpers, even though I miss them to pieces) and watch something on TV (not Disney JR!) Whoo! Hoo!
Meyers is always fine when I drop her off, but I wasn't sure what Emery would do. She cried in my arms, but stopped as soon as I set her in the class over the babygate. I peeked back in after I dropped off Meyers, and she was crying a little, but I think it's because another child was losing their mind. I hope (for her sake and her teacher's) that she settled down. I'm anxious to see when I pick her up:) I made little "Back to School Survival Kits" for their teachers, and Meyers walked right up to her teacher in the hall, hugged her, gave it to her, and then went in the classroom. It was such a blur, I can't even remember if I hugged her good bye! My shy girl sure can act like a grown up sometimes; it makes me sad a little:(

| We normally take pictures outside, but Meyers insisted on sitting on the fireplace with her sister. |
