The girls had a great time trick or treating last night! I'm so glad the weather cleared up just in time! Meyers's final choice for costume was Minnie, and Emery was Sofia. At first, Meyers said she only wanted to go to a few houses, and then she wanted to come home and hand out candy. After a few houses, she was hooked and wanted to stay out longer, so I brought Emery home since she never napped that day. At first Emery was confused; she thought she needed to go in everyone's houses, and she couldn't understand why that was not okay. There may have been a few small fits, but after that she learned that we went to the door, got something in her bag, and then got back in the wagon. This was the first year for them to go trick or treating together. After John brought Meyers home, we looked through her candy. A trick or treater rang our bell, and Meyers gathered up some of her candy to go give them:) Such a sweet heart on that girl. We explained that it was her candy to keep, and we had other candy for the trick or treaters. She loved handing out candy just as much as she liked trick or treating:)
