October iphone Pictures

October was filled with LOTS of unpacking!

I planned a girls' dinner/scarf exchange with some of the girls John works with/wives of guys he works with. It was really fun, and I got a really cute scarf:)
My cute scarf! I texted this picture to the girl that brought this scarf. I've met some really sweet girls here and have just fallen into a rhythm with them. I think I take that for granted sometimes because I'm used to having a great group of girlfriends, but as much as I miss "my" people, I'm thankful for sweet girls to have girl time with.

Our first visitor!!!!! My mom! She came 5 days after we had moved in so it was a little crazy, but we had so much fun and it was nice to have some "home" here with us.

first ice cream truck at our new house

Meyers got to bring home Monkey Moe from preschool this week. She was SO excited and we were too!

I texted my mom from the parking lot and told her we got Monkey Moe. She made a sign for Meyers and Monkey Moe in the 10 minutes it took us to get home:)

We celebrated our 12 year anniversary a couple of days early since my mom was here. It was our first night out since we've moved.

On the way to the airport:(

Rainy day at the pumpkin patch.....

running through the maze

My girls love Logan:)

they loved riding the ponies

Meyers was a little scared at first, but she warmed up to it.

We celebrated our actual anniversary at the pumpkin patch:)

Lauren sent me my last house painting in October. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these paintings. They are so special that they are my houses and that my friend painted them. I was so excited to get them hung.

This girl finally got a big girl booster:)

Lunch of popcorn at Target because I'm mom of the year.

Our second visitors - the Clecks (minus Jon) came to visit us from Philadelphia. Stephanie and I haven't lived this close in 8 years, so it's exciting to just be about 7 hours away from each other. It was a wild and crazy weekend with 5 kids 5 and under, but lots of fun.

Leighton and Meyers

Meyers was SO excited for a sleepover in the playroom!

Is there anything better than getting cozy and watching a movie with your friends?!

These two.......they had fun together. Super sweet to watch them play together.

Our Elsa and Anna wigs came in the mail and the excitement was real.

Emery had her "parent observation" day at dance, and it was so fun to watch. She surprised me with how well she listened to her Ms. Corie

I could eat her with a spoon in her ballet outfit.

Proud of this big girl!

We picked Meyers up from school after and celebrated a great day at Mellow Mushroom:)

Stickers on your face because that's fun!

Our front porch decorated for fall

John's work puts on this amazing fall festival. The theme this year was Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. My pictures don't do it justice, but it was awesome.

Willy Wonka and the girls:)

Highlight of the night - face painting!

Picture from my phone - they did a photo booth that we couldn't quite figure out. All of our pictures were crazy!

Meyers had her "parent observation" the next week and they got to dress up since it was the day before Halloween.
Emery did so good. I thought she might want to get up and dance since it's the same room and same teacher, but she was happy to watch and eat her giant cookie.

Ms. Corie - their teacher - dressed up as Big Bird
The girls on Halloween on Elsa and Anna:)  Our 3rd visitors, Pop and Gran, got in town just in time to go trick or treat with us.
