Meyers woke up Friday morning with a snotty nose and then her eyes started gunking up later in the day. I took her to the doctor this morning and she has another ear infection....her 3rd since December. I started thinking about how many times we have been to the doctor since her asthma/enlarged tonsils started happening last summer.

We have been to the doctor at least once a month (some months more than once) since last July. And that doesn't even include specialists or urgent care/ER visits. So....we have become regulars at the doctor's office. Even the new staff seem to know us already! Ha!








Normally when we go to the doctor's office, she is content to sit in my lap. But now that she is walking, she wanted to walk around (with my wallet "wa wa") and check things out. I just cringed at what new germs she may have picked up. Hopefully none since she was pretty content to walk around and only touch my wallet!



She liked looking at her reflection in the window.



"My throat hurts" is what I'm assuming she is telling me here:)

All I can say is that we are beyond blessed that this is only an ear infection. I hate for her to be sick, but I will take "minor" things like this any day. Any time she is sick (especially since our 3 day LeBonheur stay), I think about all of the children that are terminally ill. My heart breaks for their parents and families. So....an ear infection and being a regular at the doctor's office is okay....at least she is healthy!
