Baby Blessings Sunday

This past Sunday, our church had what they are now calling "Baby Blessings" Sunday. It used to be called "Baby Dedication" Sunday. We go to a non-denominational church, so there is no baptism or christening or anything like that. It's really just a time to recognize babies born in the last year, and most importantly, a charge to all the parents to raise their children in a godly home and to be their first and foremost christian influence. Our minister reminded us that one of the best things we can do for our children is to love our spouse. So true!

Baby Blessings Sunday with Meyers three years ago. They used to do it on Mother's Day and this was the first time that I had gone to church as a family in 5+ weeks.
