All major holidays are super busy in our family. I am VERY thankful that both of our families live within 10 minutes of each other, but that means that each holiday is an all day event! I know people have to do it, but I couldn't imagine switching off holidays and not seeing one of our families on whatever day. Typically we eat lunch with John's family and dinner with mine and that's what we did again this year. You forget how crazy that is with a baby. Meyers has been off a morning nap for a couple of years now and can push through an afternoon one, but Emery needs her naps and she likes to nap in HER bed. They were both exhausted (and us too!) by that evening, but they had so much fun with their cousins. And we all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our families!
