I've posted before about how much
Meyers loves Noah's Ark. This is the book that we read about 10 times a day.

It's really colorful and the pictures are cute. The pages are kind of reflective and sparkly. Besides her Karen Katz "Lift the Flap" books and her daddy books that I've made for her, I would say this is her favorite book. The funny thing about this book is that I bought it a few days before I had her. I worked at a Christian school, and the church that it was in had an amazing bookstore. The last day I worked, I went to the store on one of my breaks and bought a ton of books. It was like I all of the sudden felt that I needed to have plenty of books in our house for me to bring this baby home.
I know. I'm crazy. Maybe it was some sort of nesting.
So we read through this book all the time, but I don't really read the book to her; I just tell her what happens as we go through the pages. It was slightly wordy for a 1 year old, but she would probably be okay with it now. But this is how we've done it for a while now. So here's Meyers telling me the story of Noah's Ark. I am so glad I finally got this on video!
Oh, and please excuse my voice and my messy house. John was home with her today:)
Precious!! I love how she waves everyone to come out of the boat with such confidence. I never knew the story about you buying books on your last day. That's sweet that 2 1/2 years later, that's one of her favorites.
