A Little More Normal

We went to Target this morning. That doesn't sound super exciting or different, but it's been a while since I took both girls by myself. And Target is like the stay-at-home mom's mecca - the go to place when you feel like you can't stay in your house a minute longer.

Since Emery hasn't been in an infant carseat carrier since about 2.5 months old, I would have to wear her every time I went to Target. It was exhausting - she is heavy. She's been sitting okay in restaurant high chairs, so I decided today was the day to test out her sitting in the shopping cart.

She did great! I was worried she would be wobbly. She did at one point slump down and kind of lay on the side, but she was completely content to do that (and she was laying on her cart cover, not the nasty shopping cart). Meyers sat in the big part of the cart, and I nearly buried her with groceries:) She was funny; she kept asking for more things to be put in the cart around her.

I felt a little more normal today, and that's always good:)
