I Survived

I just had to document that I survived John being out of town for THREE weeks straight. He's home now, so I can put that on here:)
Out of the last three weeks, both the girls have been sick for two of those weeks, Meyers was in the ER twice, and my trunk shows were going on. I don't want to say it couldn't have been any crazier because it could have been. But it was pretty crazy.
I realized that I'm a little bit stronger than I thought I was and that I do not ever want to be without my husband for that long ever again. Not that I didn't have respect for single moms, military wives, etc., but I have a whole new respect for them now that I've been a "single mama" for three weeks. I can't imagine doing it for longer periods of time!
Thank goodness our families are here or I would have really lost it! My father in law went with us to the ER the first time, and my dad went the second time while my mother in law and my mom stayed with Emery each of those times. My sweet mom (and dad one night) slept on the air mattress in our playroom for four nights after we came home from the hospital to help me with the girls. I am very thankful for our families and that we live close to them.
And I'm so glad John is home!!
