Busy Weekend

This past weekend was so super busy! We had two birthday parties, Disney on Ice, AND our house went on the market Friday afternoon!! Other than cleaning, Friday night was low key since the rest of the weekend was so busy.

Goodness gracious! Our house stays relatively clean. I mean my baseboards might be dusty, but it definitely stays picked up. But getting a house "show ready" is for the birds! Ughhh!

Saturday morning, we went to Kenley's birthday party. The theme was PJs in the Park. All the kids wore their pajamas, played in the park, and ate donuts. Super cute idea! Meyers had a lot of fun, and Emery loved looking around outside and taking it all in.

We took Meyers to Disney on Ice Saturday afternoon (Emery stayed home with Gran since it was her naptime). We met our friends for lunch before we all headed downtown. While we were at lunch, John got a call that somebody wanted to see our house on Sunday. So we basically were kind of distracted the rest of the afternoon thinking about all we needed to do to get ready for a showing. We were SHOCKED that somebody wanted to see the house not 24 hours after it went on MLS! We thought we had more time.

Meyers is going to be Snow White for Halloween, so we had to get her a Snow White doll.

She crashed on the way home and that NEVER happens!

 Meyers had a lot of fun, but I think the part she enjoyed the most was when Mickey and crew came out at the beginning and before each act. She's just not quite into princesses yet, still all about some Mickey:) We came home and worked like dogs to get our house ready to show. Geez, I don't think my house has been this clean since.......ever:)

Sunday morning, we went to church, then lunch at my parents. We left Emery at my parents since we had a showing during her naptime. Meyers came with us because we had our second party of the weekend that afternoon - Bryn's 2nd birthday. We did some last minute things around the house, and then Meyers and I left for the party.

While we were at the party, John called and said a second person wanted to come see our house. Wow! It worked out that we had somewhere to be all afternoon, so John could show the house. Bryn's party was at a different park. Meyers was in heaven playing at the park again on Sunday. She had so much fun playing and celebrating Bryn's birthday.

 I slept SO good Sunday night after our crazy, busy weekend! Now if I can only keep my house perfect until we sell our house........
