Six (Me, Ash, Brooke, Jamie, Lauren, and Valerie) of us headed up from Memphis, two (Erin and Abby) were already in Nashville, and Steph even flew in from DC for it! Steph's sister, Erin, was so sweet to let us ALL crash at her cute condo in West End (thank you AGAIN, Erin, for being a fabulous hostess!!!)
When we got to Erin's place, we just ate and hung out. Most of us that went are moms, so it was SO nice to be able to sit around and do absolutely nothing:)
We went shopping Saturday afternoon and then came back to get ready. It was pretty impressive that eight girls got ready with one bathroom! I managed to shower and get dressed in like 20 minutes. It's amazing how fast you can get ready when you are just dressing yourself:)
We ate dinner on the balcony at Sambuca. It was a perfect night for that! And the food was so good!
The Fray opened up for Kelly Clarkson. They were so good in concert. And other than Kelly's show being a little shorter than I expected, she was awesome live. Her voice is amazing! We had a blast - I always forget what great people watching there is at concerts!
We all said it felt like we were gone much longer than we were, so I'm thinking we all needed a little getaway with our girlfriends! We had so much fun, but it was great to get home to my three favorite people! I'm so thankful my girls have a wonderful, hands- on dad that can take care of them when I'm not there. It was so nice to be able to go out of town and not worry about them because I knew they were in good hands! I came home to a clean house and a "I don't know how you do this everyday" from John:)
