Halloween 2016

I dug deep for my old sewing skills and made Meyers's candy corn costume. I thought she looked so cute!!!

Emery never waivered from wanting to be Wonder Woman. I wanted to make her an m&m costume since Meyers was going to be her favorite candy. I felt bad not making her costume, too, but she still chose Wonder Woman. I attempted to make her pink boot covers, but that was a disaster.  I did make her arm bands and crown:)

Emery woke up with a stomach bug on Sunday morning and stayed home from school Monday. She felt fine other than the times she was getting sick. We nixed trick or treating with our neighbors and just went around with our family. Emery felt fine but wanted to go home and give out candy.

She loved telling everybody "Happy Halloween!" which sounded like "Happy Hannoween!" She speaks beyond clear but there's still a few things she says funny. I will be so sad when she says them correctly:)

Our school collects candy to send to troops overseas. We had very little candy leftover over but our neighbor did and gave it to us to send to school. If the girls' school collects 1,000 pounds, they get a movie and popcorn day. Hopefully our 7+ pounds helped that!
