Meyers LOVES her flashcards. We got her some about a year ago. At first, we would just let her play with them. We would also go through them and tell her what each one was. It didn't take long for her to start saying and identifying all of the cards. She can sit and do these forever. When we are going somewhere we may be for awhile like the doctor's office or getting my oil changed, I bring these cards. People probably think I'm that crazy mom trying to force my child to learn, but it's the only thing that will keep her occupied for a long period of time.

They come in this nice little box (that she loves also....who knows?), but we keep them in this basket. I'm not going to lie. On more than one occasion, I've thought about hiding this basket for a few days....or months:) It's kind of like when your child wants you to read the same book 4,000 times in a row. It gets kind of old.


Sometimes we can get her to do them by herself, but she still wants confirmation from us that she is right:) Sweet girl!
