Praying

We say the same prayer with Meyers before she eats. It's cute because she wants to pray when she has a snack in the cart at Target or just random times when she is about to eat. And she even reminds us to pray when we forget:) Normally John or I will say the words and she repeats each one after we do. We keep it simple so that she will be able to do it. It goes like this "Thank you. Jesus. Love you. Amen."

I gave Meyers a snack this morning and she put her hands up (I have no clue why she puts her hands like this!) and prayed ALL BY HERSELF!!!! It was so precious, and just absolutely warmed my heart. I'm tearing up right now just thinking about my sweet girl praying on her own. It's just such a huge reminder that she is listening and watching us and taking it all in. I know we mess up and we are not perfect, but I want so badly for her to see Jesus in her momma and daddy, and I want to chase her heart to HIM.

I didn't catch it on camera then, but I tried to get her to do it by herself during lunch. I had to prompt her a little, but that's okay. It's still pretty cute:)
