Meyers's Birthday

Meyers turned 3 on Sunday. We went to church that morning and then ate lunch at one of her favorites - Moe's. Chick-fil-a was closed, so it had to be Moe's! When we got home, I tried to get a picture with the "3" I had made for her party. She wasn't super cooperative, but I got a few that I am putting in her "3 year post" whenever I get around to that!

We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out in our front yard. We've never really done that, and it was so nice! There are so many times when she wants to play outside and either we need to get somewhere or Emery needs to be fed or we are in a rush for something. I told John I wanted to let her play outside as long as she wanted on her birthday, and that's what we did - for almost 4 hours! Meyers had a blast playing with bubbles, riding in/on everything with wheels in our garage, picking flowers, swinging, and dancing to music on John's iphone.

Emery loved being outside and was so not fussy! John and I took turns sitting with her on the blanket. She even took a couple of short naps.

We had an awesome day spending time with our girls and celebrating the day Meyers was born.
