Meyers had her 4 year check up that afternoon and wanted John to take her. While they were gone, I got our house ready for a showing (we put it back on the market two weeks ago). Since Meyers had to get a shot and a finger prick, I took her to get ice cream while John showed the house.
Happy girl now. What shot?
That evening, we went to The Raymond's house for dinner. The girls had so much fun playing. Brant is right in the middle of Meyers and Emery and they all had fun together.
On Saturday, John took the girls for donuts. It was super sweet of him to let me stay home, but he called while they were there to say we had another showing that afternoon. So I got up and started getting our house "show ready" again. It would be nice if it could stay that way, but with two little girls around here, it's impossible. After they got home, John cut the yard, and I took the girls on a walk/run.
To keep the kitchen clean, we picked up Chick-fil-a for lunch and had a picnic at the park.
Emery napped when we got home, and Meyers did too. This is such a rare occurrence. We finished straightening up for the showing. This showing went well and we got a lot of great feedback.
Since we were on a roll of not eating any meals at home that day, we went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner:) Meyers loves that place!
After dinner, we went to Gracie Bleu for ice cream. If you are keeping count, that's ice cream three days in a row - Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We went from never going to get ice cream to three days in a row. Not sure how that happened:)
We went to church on Sunday and then to my parents for lunch. We had another showing that afternoon, so me and the girls stayed at my parents so Emery could nap. John went home to again get the house ready to show. We went to John's parents' for dinner that night.
So blurry, but the only picture we got with all of us.
They love playing with mine and my brothers' old toys!
On Monday, we had a lazy morning and then took the girls to the park.
We napped that afternoon, and then I went to dinner with my friend, Melissa that night. John was super husband last night. He washed and changed our sheets by the time I got home, did a load of laundry (folded and everything), bathed the girls and cleaned the den and the kitchen. SO nice to come home to!!
