Weekend Fun

This past week was long. Both of the girls had a little something. Emery's had turned into an ear infection and the doctor said it looked like it had ruptured. Geez! Everybody was back to normal by Thursday, but I needed a night out. John and I went to Elfo's Friday night, and I had the yummiest dinner -a Gorgonzola filet with risotto. Oh my heavens! I think if I had to eat anything for the rest of my life, that might be it! I've been eating pretty healthy for the last two months; that may have been why it was so good!


We had fun!






On Saturday, I woke up sneezing like crazy and had to take a Benadryl to stop. I immediately felt like crawling back in bed. So I did! It was amazing! John watched the girls, and I went back to sleep for an hour. After lunch, he worked in the yard and the girls hung out inside in our pajamas and diaper:)












We went to a fun birthday party Saturday night. The girls had a blast. Emery thinks she's a big kid! She was making me so nervous on the playset!!!






We went to church Sunday morning. Meyers loves hanging out with in the gym with the teenagers while John teaches. I think she mostly just likes getting to eat a donut!









We ate dinner at John's parents' Sunday night. The girls love going to both sets of grandparents' houses. Grandparents are super fun:)

It was a perfect weekend!
