4th of July Weekend

This past weekend, we went to Nashville for a concert and to visit family. John wanted tickets to David Gray for Father's Day, so that's what we did. We stayed with my aunt and uncle and got to visit with my cousins, too. My parents came up, also. They watched Meyers while we went to the concert. We drove up Thursday and went to the concert that night. It was at the Grand Ole Opry which was so much fun. Neither one of us had ever seen a concert there; we both loved the atmosphere. If I was a good blogger or documenter of us, I would have pictures....but apparently, I'm only good at documenting Meyers:)

The concert was fun, but one of the most exciting parts of the trip was fabric shopping on Friday. We went to the Children's Corner. They were having a sale, and I got a bunch of fabric to make Meyers some fall clothes and some things for next summer, too. I was in heaven!

We also made a trip to the Cheesecake Factory, and just like when we went over Memorial Day, it did not disappoint!

We had a great weekend visiting family. Meyers got to hang out with this cutie.....her cousin, and she had fun, too! They are three months apart. They were so cute together!!

This girl is a talker... I mean, she talks better than some 4 and 5 year olds that I know! So smart!

They both loved doing flashcards. You know that is Meyers favorite!!

Sweet little faces!!! I could eat them!

Meyers and Daddy

Not sure what she was doing here, but I thought she looked cute:)

These girls loved playing with each other!

Their favorite place to play was on the bottom of the stairs.

They practiced their jumping skills!
