I just realized that I now have three posts with "4th of July" in them. I promise, this is the last one. There were too many pictures to post it all in one.....
On Monday, July 4th, we went to John's Aunt Jamie's house to swim and cook out. Meyers usually likes the pool, but she didn't want to be in that day. Fortunately, John's mom was not swimming, so she watched her outside while we hung out in the pool.
Here is Meyers all ready to go swim.
She stayed in the water for a few minutes.
We tried to get her to stay in the pool by John throwing her. It worked for a minute.
John is a great swimmer. I, on the other hand, am not. John likes to tell people I can't swim. I correct him by saying, " I can swim, but I'm not a strong swimmer." He thinks it's super funny that I don't get in the pool and just start swimming laps to the other side. I guess it's that I'm lazy and the pool is for relaxing, not seeing how long I can swim under water. I digress.......
He is also a great diver. I hope that Meyers picks up both of these things from him. I love to watch him dive. He is so fearless, and he is good at it. Occasionally, he busts it. But for the most part, they are all pretty!

Meyers was just walking around taking it all in.
She decided to get back in the pool for a few minutes and "motorboat" with Pop. She is totally looking at him like "I'm not sure about this!"
