Nine

Nine years ago today, I married my best friend (I can't believe it's been nine years!). And even on the days John drives me crazy (yes, he knows he drives me crazy sometimes and I drive him crazy, too.....like maybe once a year or something.......), I still love him with all my heart, and he is still my best friend.



Can you see the huge grin on my face? I love this picture...... how smiley I am and how John is looking at me. We barely have any candid/photojournalistic pictures of us. Our photographer was old school and it WAS nine years ago......
That's why I love this one so much because he caught a special moment, not just poses.


We have been through so many different things in the last nine years......from cancer to new houses, jobs, graduate school, a baby (and one on the way), an asthmatic toddler, a few random surgeries, and all kinds of experiences in between. I always tell John that there is no one I would rather be "doing life" with than him. In good times and in bad.


Happy Anniversary, John!!! This 23 year old girl in this picture loved you so much then, and this 32 year old wife and mother of your children loves you more than ever!
