One More Thing.........

.......off my list.

This year at MOPS, I (along with another girl) am the crafts and service coordinator. This means we organize crafts and service projects throughout the year.

This summer, we were also asked to make something for our sweet child care workers at MOPS for Christmas and end of year presents. At the time, my co-coordinator and I were not as pregnant as we are now, so we said sure, that should be easy:)

Well, fast forward 6 months and she is about to have a baby any minute, and I am getting bigger and more uncomfortable by the minute:) Since she is about to have a baby, I volunteered to take over the Christmas presents.

I love making stationery. Normally it's for me or one set at a time for a gift. I've never made 19 at a time before. I highly underestimated the time it would take me, but that's typical in most things you volunteer yourself for, right?

So I finally got them all printed and my sweet mom came over yesterday to help me score, cut, and wrap 19 sets of note cards. I think it took both of us almost 3 hours, and I still had to finish wrapping a few this morning. Thank goodness she helped!

I can now cross the MOPS worker gifts off my list.

Now I just have to finish decorating my church for Christmas:) Cant wait to cross that off my list!

Why is it that being a stay-at-home-mom makes me feel like I should/can volunteer myself for everything:)
