Our New Normal

I say that about a lot of things. I'm sure I'll be saying it a lot in 2.5 weeks when we are adjusting to being a family of four with a new baby.

Anyway, saying it reminds me not to be stressed out, but to realize that I need to get used to XYZ because it is "our new normal".

Did I ever think I was going to have a potty in the back of my car? Did i ever think I would be swinging by the trash can on our way out of a parking lot with a ziploc bag of pee. No, but that is definitely our new normal, as well as one of the best $25 I've ever spent. When Meyers was early potty training, we used it a lot. She actually still prefers it to public restrooms, and I'm okay with that as long it's not raining or super freezing.

****I kept forgetting to post about this, so this picture was taken back in October or November. I'm gauging that on her pumpkin dress.
