Meyers had her first dance recital last week. I can not even put into words how precious it was. She's been taking tap and ballet since the fall, but the dance they performed was for the class that started in January - so only 10 weeks. I tried to get her to practice at home, and it never went so well. I was just hoping she wouldn't get up there and start crying. As long as she stood out there, I would have been happy.
Well this girl got out there and worked it! The pictures below are of each girl's "entrance". They went out, did a twirl, and blew a kiss. She walked out there and did it perfectly! She had this big smile on her face. It.Was.Precious!!! I danced from age 3-16, so I love that she likes dancing. We will see
what other things she enjoys doing, but I can totally see this being her
thing.

After their "entrances", they did their ballet dance with their teacher on stage (faces are blurred because I forgot to ask some moms if they minded their child being on my blog!). I was seriously shocked at how well her and all the girls did. Now, were they a few steps behind sometimes? Absolutely. But they are 3 and 4 years old. I thought they all did AMAZING! Her teacher is awesome!
