Meyers got this swing for Christmas.
We just got it hung.
Better late, than never!
Meyers loves to swing, so we knew this would be super exciting for her. She loves having a swing in her front yard. And I love the way a swing in the front yard looks. Something about it just says "happy home". Cheesy, right? But I seriously love pulling up and seeing her swing in the front yard.
I made John do pull-ups on it before I let her get in it. Here he is still testing it out.
I know her face doesn't say "I love my swing!", but we had just gotten home from swimming and a nap was not involved that day.
After living with the swing in the front yard for a week or so, it's kind of a curse and blessing. A curse because she wants to swing.....all the time.....even when it's 100 degrees outside.
And a blessing because we always have something to do right in our front yard. Y'all know I am not going in the backyard. Remember the snake? At least the front yard is further away from the woods in our backyard!
I love swings in the front yard too. If we can teach the girls to pump their legs to swing themselves then maybe it wouldn't be as much of a sweaty mess on our end.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Uncle Brian swinging on it would have given you a solid peace of mind.....
ReplyDeleteGlad she likes her swing! I would want to stay in the front yard too! Yikes!!
