Well.....apparently I should have gotten him to do it sooner....
WARNING!!! GROSS PICTURES!!! I CAN'T EVEN LOOK AT THEM IN THIS POST WITHOUT FEELING SQUEAMISH!!!!! SCROLL DOWN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE A SNAKE!!!

....because I saw this as I was walking down the hall facing our front door. It was slithering across our walkway, three feet from the front door. We have a glass storm door, so I usually open our front door and let Meyers look outside. She loves it! I will NOT be doing that anymore!!!
I freaked out!!! I called John, but he is in meetings all day today and couldn't leave. He thought it was a tiny garden snake. I assured him it was not tiny. I told him to tell his boss that it was an emergency. Right? A snake is totally an emergency. John did not think so. He told me to call my dad. My dad couldn't come, so I called my brother (who is now currently my hero). He came over and searched and searched. I just wanted him to find it so badly, so that I would know it was gone. Not that there can't be more, but I just wanted this one found. He finally found it. It had slithered all the way around to the back of the house. My brother beat it to death and put it in a garbage bag where it is now waiting for John to dispose of. My brother HATES snakes, so it was huge of him to come over and kill it. I wasn't about to make him take it with him to put in a dumpster somewhere. He was dying to have to get it in the garbage bag, but he knew I wanted it contained.....just in case it decided to come back to life.
So....it's looking like we will never play outside ever again:) I thought the front yard was safer than the back, but I see that is not so. I am completely freaked out!!!!
I know a good real estate agent.....
