Easter Weekend Part 1: Church Easter Egg Hunt

There is a donut shop close by that has yummy donuts. Someone told me about how they have Easter bunny donuts around Easter time. So we stopped by on the way to the church Easter egg hunt. I'm hoping this will be a tradition each year.


Aren't they adorable!!! Meyers really liked the m and m's on the donut, but not much of anything else. That's okay....I took care of it for her:)


There was so much going on! She looks a little lost in this picture:)



She found 4 eggs!


The 2 and under hunt was on the fenced in playground. Only one parent was allowed in with each child. Everyone else could watch from outside the fence. Meyers and Cash had a little fan club going on. They were cheering them on...it was so cute!

Then she saw Mimi and Poppy on the "outside".


She finally made it out to see Poppy!


This was as close as we could get to the Easter bunny. Clearly, she was not a fan. It made me feel better that I didn't take her to get her picture made at the mall:)

Poor thing buried her head on daddy.


Then she was consoled by Mimi. She looks pitiful!


But then she cheered up and had fun sitting on the sidewalk.

Overall I think she had fun at her first big Easter egg hunt. This was her first year to participate since she was not walking last Easter, so that was special for us!
