It's Potty Time

We finally got a potty this week. I said for a long time that I wasn't going to even introduce the potty until Meyers started walking. First things first....walking was more important that pottying:) So now that she has been walking for a couple of months, we got the potty. Right now, she just sits on it. She really likes sitting on it; she thinks she is a big girl! And she really likes the lid. Part of me would love a potty trained child, but part of me is really not ready to "go there". Public restrooms disgust me, and the thought of her being in one touching everything......GROSS! But like most things in parenting, this is season in our life, and we will get through

all the grossness

and the accidents

and the going to the potty in every place we go because it's new

and keeping a potty in the back of the pilot for emergencies (weird, but I'll do it)

and many more things I'm sure I don't even know yet because we are new at this:)
