Anyway, we went to our friends Jessica and Jennifer's parents' house. Her dad is a candy broker, so he is the candy man! We have never been before, but have always heard how crazy it is. There is candy everywhere. I've got pictures below to prove it. Her parents have food inside and chairs and candy outside to hand out. It was so much fun hanging out with our friends and their kids, and I'm so glad we went. Meyers had a lot of fun, too. We didn't stay very long because she didn't nap yesterday, but it was definitely worth going!
Minnie Mouse with her bag I threw together! It's not what I had in mind, but that's what you get for last minute crafting! Next year, I'll be more prepared:) I thought we weren't going trick or treating, so she didn't have one!
She was making me laugh in this picture. She thought she needed to hold her arm up the whole time to keep the bag on her shoulder:)
The whole costume....even the sparkly shoes!
I took this picture of Meyers after we got there. She was having so much fun just hanging out in their driveway. One reason is because of the "beep beeps". That is what she still calls Little Tike cars. I got her to potty in the back of the car because I told her she couldn't go see the "beep beeps" until she pottied!
All of our crew!
Thank goodness they had some little cars. Since this was our first time trick or treating with Meyers, we didn't realize how convenient it would be to push her around in one of these. She was pretty content to stay in the car and eat her goldfish. She did actually go to a few doors and say trick or treat. It was super cute!
She LOVES Baby Bryn! She really just wanted to see her the whole time! The rest of our crew went on, and we went back to see the candy man and return the "beep beep"!
This is the candy table. Every time a kid would come up, Mr. Williams would say "Open up your bags and take one of everything on the table!" It was so fun to see the kid's reactions. You would have thought that were at Willy Wonka's!
Here is John and Meyers getting some candy.
The rest are pictures from the stash in their garage.
This is where they grabbed from when they were getting low!
Can you believe all of this candy??
We had such a great time and look forward to next year!
And because I love to compare......

There were a few Minnie Mouses in Elizabeths class and none of them were near this cute! I'm glad Meyers had fun.
