Meyers had school today, and Emery had another weight check at the doctor. She gained 12 oz. since last Tuesday. We can attribute that to formula:)
***I won't go into too many details, but nursing didn't work with Meyers, and it didn't work for Emery. As much as I would have liked for it to, my body doesn't produce enough milk and my girls never really latched on. I was a crying hot mess when it didn't work out with Meyers. This time, I cried myself to sleep one night, and that was it. I laid in bed last night, and one of the things I prayed about was formula and how thankful I am for it, particularly Enfamil Gentlease, because that changed our world a couple of nights ago when we tried it.**
So.....we are glad our girl is chunking up!
After we dropped Meyers off at school (John is still off work! Thank goodness!), we went to get a few things at target. Then we went to the doctor.
When we got home, I put together Meyers's valentines for her class for next week, as well as a little happy for her teachers. I really wanted to do something crafty, but I settled for candy with cute gift tags:)
After that, I put a bunch of stuff on eBay - some maternity clothes and some things that will be too little for Emery by the time it gets warm.
I feel super productive! Now I'm not going to do anything the rest of the day except hang out with my girls.......and John, too:)

Hi Beth, I was just re-reading this post b/c I happened to see the cute little picture of Emery on today's page, and it just moved me to read it again. Anyway, I wanted to ask you about the tags that you made on the Valentine's gifts. Did you, by any chance, use one of those circular stamps on one of them?? I have a couple of those (can't remember the correct name for them), and it looks just like mine. Don't you just love it?? I use it with my scrapbooking........was just curious if it was the same one!
ReplyDeleteI always want to reply to you but I never know if replying to your comment on my own blog works.....
DeleteFor the scallop tags, I have a 3 inch scallop punch. For the circle ones, I used a 1.5 inch punch. I use my cricut a lot, too. But when I need the tag to say something, a hand held punch works best. I love making my own tags and enclosures!
